Jurgita Šilinskaitė-Venslovienė has been appointed as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at KN Energies

On 29 August, Jurgita Šilinskaitė-Venslovienė, who previously served as Head of LNG Commerce, has assumed the role of Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of international energy terminal operator KN Energies.
 
She will be responsible for overseeing the strategy and management of the departments under the Corporate Affairs umbrella – Communications, Law and Sustainability. Her responsibilities also include supporting the company's management and supervisory bodies, maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and representing the company's interests.
 
Over 40 candidates took part in the selection process for Chief Corporate Affairs Officer position.
 
"Jurgita's appointment as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer was based on her experience at KN and her strong personal qualities – synergy of leadership, negotiation, entrepreneurship, communication, and other competences. Jurgita has deep expertise in regulated business, stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to engage and motivate teams, all of which were well demonstrated in her recent role as Head of LNG Commerce. It is also worth noting, that early in her career, in 2017, she successfully held the position of Interim Head of Corporate Affairs," notes Darius Šilenskis, CEO of KN Energies.

J. Šilinskaitė-Venslovienė, who won the tender, has been with KN Energies for 8 years, including approximately 7 years as Head of LNG Commerce. She also serves as Chair of the Board of the Lithuanian Inland Waterways Authority and holds the position of Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, reflecting her active engagement in both professional and non-governmental sectors.

15 years of management experience in various companies, the new Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at KN holds a Master's degree in Public Administration and a Master’s in Business Administration, and an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from BMI.
