Klaipėda LNG terminal spot cargo capacity for November 2025 – January 2026 are now being allocated

Klaipėda LNG terminal operator, SC KN Energies (hereinafter referred to as the Company), informs natural gas market participants about the planned allocation of SPOT LNG cargo capacity of the LNG terminal under the conditions specified below. 

The Company, taking into account the provisions of the Regulations for the Use of the liquefied natural gas Terminal of SC “KN Energies”, approved by Order No. BV-59 of the Chief Executive Officer of 11 August 2025 (hereinafter – the Rugulations), informs about the planned announcement of the invitation to submit applications for the acquisition of LNG Terminal spot cargo capacities:

Size of spot cargo: 1 000 000 000 kWh ±5 %. Requests that do not correspond to the capacity volume announced by the Operator will be considered in the next stage, provided that no Requests matching the published cargo size are submitted.
Spot cargo LNG regasification capacity usage period and cargo delivery window:
Regasification period: from 12 November 2025 to 31 January 2026
Cargo delivery window: 21–22 November 2025

The priority for the allocation of LNG regasification capacities is determined based on the highest LNG regasification service values indicated in duly submitted Requests as set out in the Regulations.

The opening date and time for request submissions is 28th of August 2025, 10:00 EEST.
The closing date and time for request submissions is 11th of September 2025, 10:00 EEST.*

UPDATE (18th September 2025): The capacities are booked and no more available.

*After the deadline for submitting Requests for the acquisition of SPOT LNG cargo capacities (11 September 2025, 10:00 EEST), the Operator will evaluate the received Requests and inform about the results no later than within 5 business days.
