July this year, AB Klaipedos Nafta terminals in Klaipeda and Subacius, where the state fuel reserves are being stored, handled more than 0.5 million oil products. The company’s results were mainly affected by the diversified customer portfolio.
In company's both oil product terminals in July a total of 552 thousand tons of petroleum products were handled or 0.5 percent more than in July last year, when the total cargo volume was 549 thousand tons. Counting from the beginning of the year, the company totally handled a volume of oil products that is close to 5 million tons, which is as much as 28 percent more than last year during the seven months.
Cargo volumes have remained stable mainly due to ensured supply of petroleum products from Orlen Lietuva factory and Belarusian customers.
AB Klaipedos Nafta indicative revenues of the first seven months of this year is 65.3 million Euro or 4.6 percent more than over the last year’s seven months when received 62.4 million Euro.
Company's oil terminals preliminary sales revenues in January-July reached 25.7 million. Euro, it is 4 percent more comparing to the same period last year. During July preliminary monthly income is 2.5 million Euro – 19.4 percent less than in July last year.

In July, the company has made one of the most important oil terminal development solutions – to invest about 50 million Euro to the train trestle and new universal oil product tank park development. The implementation of the investment in Klaipeda oil terminal will increase the competitiveness and attractiveness to customers and will enable us to handle more different petroleum products", – explains Mantas Bartuška, AB Klaipedos Nafta CEO.
In June the liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal re-gasified and supplied 1.012 million MWh of natural gas when compared to last year in July re-gasified 326 thousand MWh. One-third higher growth is also captured from the beginning of the year: re-gasified and supplied a total of 10.2 million MWh of natural gas.
"LNG terminal activities, analyzing July and seven months results, increased three times. This was caused by LNG terminal capacity utilization, which is largely due to the fact that already in full swing gas year, in February 2016, terminal’s client commissioned LNG terminal capacity for the remaining year allowing them to ensure gas supply with the necessary amount of gas,"- comments Klaipedos Nafta’s CEO.
LNG terminal in July tentatively received 5.5 million Euro income, similar to last year, when 5.4 million Euros received. During the 7 months revenues from this activity amounted to 39.6 million EUR or 4.8 percent more than the same period last year, when received 37.8 million Euro. LNG income depends on LNT terminal activities, which are regulated by the State and accounts for one-twelfth of the liquefaction activity revenue and regasification tariff revenues actually received for the period based on the tariffs approved by the National Commission for Energy Control and Prices for the year of 2016.
The state owns 72.32 percent og Klaipedos Nafta shares.
