“Our company holds an important position in the country’s energy sector, so we must not only aim for good performance results but also have a professional visual identity. As the old logo had outlived its usefulness we decided to create a new one which keeps pace with the time and reflects the values of the company,” said CFO of AB Klaipėdos Nafta acting general manager Marius Pulkauninkas, commenting on the company’s major visual transformation.
The new logo, featuring the letters ‘KN’, was created with a focus on the history and values of AB Klaipėdos Nafta, such as initiative, professionalism, transparency, reliability and social responsibility. All this provides the logo with new qualities that reflect the company’s values and its everyday activity. Looking light and independent, the new logo highlights the inner energy and day-to-day progress.
“The new logo is a symbol of global geographical coverage, representing the interests of Lithuanian society and creating a value of partnership in the whole world. In renewing our logo, we strived to make it look modern by maintaining its awareness,” pointed out Mr. Pulkauninkas.
The logo of AB Klaipėdos Nafta is an abstract, distinct and dynamic symbol characterised by a stable structure, which is open and unrestricted in terms of its forms – a minimalist simplicity complete with the capital letters ‘KN’.
“A successful brand should not only tell the story of a company’s activity but also be distinct, easily recognised and communicate a certain message. Having studied the company’s target audiences, we found out that they had a different view of the brand. So the new logo combines two new mottos, which are familiar to a certain target audience,” suggested Mr. Pulkauninkas.
In his words, for Lithuania and its citizens the new logo features an emotional motto AIMING FOR INDEPENDENCE, and for business clients all around the world, where the knowledge of infrastructure is more important that its creation, the logo carries the motto KNOWLEDGE DRIVEN.
The legal status of AB Klaipėdos Nafta has not changed.
