AB Klaipedos Nafta (hereinafter – the Company) hereby informs that after the closure of annual liquefied natural gas (hereinafter – LNG) terminal capacities allocation procedure and conclusion of respective agreements with LNG terminal users, the following LNG terminal capacities were allocated under below indicated conditions:
UAB “LITGAS”:
UAB “Lietuvos dujų tiekimas”:
The Company notes that the above-indicated LNG terminal capacities were allocated in advance, i.e. before the start of upcoming Gas Year, lasting from the 1st of October, 2018 to the 30th of September, 2019.
In addition to the abovementioned LNG regasification capacity UAB “Lietuvos dujų tiekimas” has also booked an additional 948.000.000 kWh of LNG regasification capacity for the ongoing Gas Year, which shall last until 30th of September, 2018.
“One of the important advantages of the LNG terminal for the terminal users is the possibility to react flexibly to the consumer demands and the market situation by having a possibility to book LNG terminal capacity and to agree upon the supply schedule during the gas year without participating in the annual capacity booking procedure. This is also illustrated by “Lietuvos dujų tiekimas” example. The history and experience of the previous couple of years of working together with the terminal users also show that our clients use the opportunity to book spot terminal capacity more actively. We consider it as a strenghtening trend of booking capacity”.
The Company at its website www.kn.lt shall constantly announce and update the information regarding available capacities of the LNG terminal, which shall be available for booking during the Gas Year.
