Robertas Vyšniauskas elected as a Chairman of Supervisory Council

The newly elected Supervisory Council of KN (AB Klaipėdos Nafta), the operator of oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals, on its first meeting on 08 November 2022 elected an independent Supervisory Council member Robertas Vyšniauskas to the position of a Chairman.

Robertas Vyšniauskas is currently the General manager of UAB Valstybės investicinis kapitalas, an independent member and Chairman of the Board, as well as member of the Audit Committee of UAB EPSO-G, independent member of the Board of UAB Vilniaus vystymo kompanija. Mr. Vyšniauskas is a corporate governance, M&A consultant.

Following the Articles of Association of the Company, the Supervisory Council consists of 3 members, including the Chairman of the Supervisory Council, with at least 2 members being independent. The Supervisory Council is elected for a period of 4 years by the General Shareholders’ Meeting. 

The Supervisory Council approves the company's strategy and monitors its implementation, is responsible for overseeing transactions with third parties, elects and dismisses members of the Board of the Company, and supervises its work.

KN Supervisory Council, which took office on 20 October, 2022, consists of Robertas Vyšniauskas, Mantas Šukevičius and Dovilė Kavaliauskienė.
